The Facts:
GM Floyd Reese said, despite the ugliness of how the McNair situation has devolved with the QB prohibited from working out at team headquarters for the past seven weeks, his preference would be to find a workable solution for McNair in Tennessee. Asked if there is a chance the two sides could work out a deal that would prevent McNair from being traded or released, Reese replied, "Absolutely."

There were trade talks with the Ravens during the NFL Draft and most believe McNair will still end up there once an arbiter rules on a grievance in the next week. In fact, there are some who believe the arbiter put off his decision in order to allow the two teams to work out a suitable trade. ... Stay tuned. We haven't heard the last of this one.
