The Facts:
The schedule for Edwards' return from his knee surgery has been vague. But GM Phil Savage cleared it up a bit. "He's running in a straight line," Savage said of the 2005 No. 3 overall pick. "He's not doing any cutting."

Pressed further, Savage explained: “If Braylon is somehow able to get out on the field toward the end of training camp, then you'd think he might be able to play some in September. If it's not until September that he's getting on the field for the first time, then it might be Oct. 1. ..." The latter still sounds a bit more realistic to us at this point.
