The Facts:
McAllister, who took part last week during OTAs (organized team activities) for the first time since he had surgery for a right knee injury suffered last October, worked hard in both of Friday's mini-camp practices.

"I've been impressed with it," Sean Payton said of McAllister's progress. "He got some snaps and got going a little bit. It probably surprised me a little. I wasn't really expecting it, but I just want to make sure on his legs he's not going too fast. His weight's coming down to where it needs to be. That's encouraging. ..." Before you get too excited here, we'll note that McAllister wants to be "full go" by the time the regular season gets going.
