Matt Hasselbeck Working Through Bruised Tendon
(6/6 1:43 PT)

The Facts:
Hasselbeck was throwing at the team's facility last Friday and was on the field Monday for the first day of an eight-day passing camp. Reported by the Seattle Post-Intelligencer

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Hasselbeck's status appeared to be in question after he was spotted on crutches 10 days ago. He had bruised a tendon in his foot and the crutches allowed him to keep weight off the inflamed arch. ... His ability to take part in the passing camp gives him more time to get familiar with new wideout Nate Burleson. According to PI staffer Clare Farnsworth, Mike Holmgren's hybrid of the West Coast offense was made for Burleson's combination of skills, and vice versa. The more comfortable Hasselbeck gets with the free-agent addition, the better their rapport will be during the season. Burleson, however, missed part of Monday's practice after suffering an apparent injury. His status was not immediately available.
