Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
This week’s camp isn't mandatory, but most are in attendence. Branch is due for a new contract and, apparently, the pace of talks has not progressed to his liking. According to Herald staffer Michael Felger, Branch has told friends he’s looking for a fair-market contract and will consider taking the steps necessary to get it. ... Meanwhile, with Branch absent, Tom Brady has been able to get fully acquainted with the two new receivers vying for David Givens’ old No. 2 job: Rookie Chad Jackson and veteran free agent Reche Caldwell.
