The Facts:
Faulk won't be taking part in this weekend's mini-camp as he recovers from off-season surgery on both knees, the Rams said Thursday. A representative for Faulk told the Rams he is unable to practice and has been undergoing rehab in California. His condition is being evaluated.

This one is starting to sound a little fishy. ... Faulk considered retiring after rushing for a career-low 292 yards last year, but new coach Scott Linehan recently stated the veteran halfback fully intends to return for another season. That Faulk's reps (rather than Rams trainers or doctors) are telling team officials he can't practice and that his condition is being evaluated (by somebody in California?) make this more intriguing than it might otherwise be.
