The Facts:
During a two-minute drill toward the end of Saturday morning’s workout, the veteran receiver snagged a low pass as he fell to the ground -- but he wasn’t able to get up on his own. Booker, who didn’t put any pressure on his left ankle after the play, was helped by two trainers onto a cart and driven off the field. The status of the injury is unknown, but it certainly appeared to be more serious than a minor ankle sprain.

Nick Saban met with reporters after practice and said the injury didn’t seem serious. But as Post staffer Jeff Darlington pointed out, Saban had not yet had a chance to talk to trainers or Booker since he was carted from the field. The status of Booker’s injury likely won’t be available until at least tomorrow, as he likely will undergo tests today. ... We'll have more as developments warrant.
