The Facts:
Roethlisberger has been upgraded from serious to fair condition following successful surgery to repair multiple facial fractures resulting from Monday morning's motorcycle accident. According to Mercy Hospital Chief of Trauma, Dr. Larry Jones, the upgrade indicates that his vital signs are stable and recovery progressing as expected. Jones added that Roethlisberger could be released from hospital in next three to five days.

Dr. Jones went on to report that Roethlisberger's family authorized him to reveal the QB fractured both upper and lower jaw bones; sustained a mild concussion; suffered a fractured nose and other unspecified facial bones; suffered multiple head lacerations and multiple abrasions; he lost two teeth and chipped several others. ... Jones also said was no evidence of any major structural damage to either knees. He added that was all the information the family authorized for release. We'll continue to follow this one closely in an attempt to see if there is more pertinent information yet to be released.
