The Facts:
After a month of mini-camps and OTAs, Gary Kubiak liked what he saw from much of the team, especially Carr. "I think he's the most improved player from this offseason," Kubiak said. "From the day we walked out here until today, I really thought he was the most improved."

The coach was quick to add that Carr must return after the team's upcoming month-long break and pick up where he left off. "We can't go back and work on things that we were trying to clean up. Nobody's worked harder. ..." What else was the new boss going to say? If anybody needs a confidence-boosting compliment from a coach it's Carr.
