Plaxico Burress Says He's Okay With Eli
(6/16 11:42 PT)

The Facts:
Burress' decision to skip the Giants' season-ending meeting in January wasn't a sign of a rift between him and Eli Manning or his coach. Instead, the Giants' top receiver said yesterday, it was just an expression of frustration over the team's "humiliating" season-ending loss. "I just expressed my frustration a little differently," Burress said. "That's all it was." Reported by the New York Daily News

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Burress, who said he still has confidence in Manning, insisted he was just so upset after a zero-catch performance that he felt the need to get away. He said he didn't speak to Tom Coughlin about it because "I didn't feel there was a need to." Burress also said he felt no need explain his antics to anyone else on the team. "I don't feel I have to really explain myself to anybody," Burress said. "The best way for me to explain myself is to go out on that football field, score touchdowns and make plays. Once I go out and do that, there's nothing really to be said. ..."
