The Facts:
Palmer cranked up his rehab another notch Friday morning when he appeared to take more snaps than the other quarterbacks and he certainly took more reps in team drills than he took in Thursday’s two practices in celebrating another milestone -- practicing for the third time in two days. Wearing a brace on the left knee, Palmer took several snaps in team drills as well as a no-huddle session despite the quick turnaround. Palmer said the knee felt as good as it did Thursday.

Palmer continues to make tremendous strides in his return from reconstructive knee surgery, but he knows he’s not close to being finished with rehabilitation, and the target date of Sept. 10 isn’t that far away anymore. As the Columbus Dispatch put best it this morning: "Will he be ready to start the season opener? He doesn’t know. No one does."
