Mike McCarthy was hopeful but noncommittal when asked whether Ahman Green and Najeh Davenport will be fully available for training camp. "I would say if we had to go play a game in training camp that I think those guys would be ready," he said. "We're just going to be smart on an individual basis."

According to previous reports, Green is coming back from a torn quadriceps tendon and probably won’t be ready for full-time practice until the middle of training camp. Davenport, who had a metal plate and numerous pins put in his surgically repaired broken ankle in October, should be ready to take part in one practice a day at the start of training camp -- but his slow recovery is somewhat worrisome.
