The Facts:
Volek has been busy getting the first-team reps and establishing relationships with some of his receivers in off-season workouts Now, if Volek has his way, he will continue that sometime over the next few weeks by working on his own with several of his wideouts before training camp begins. "I have a plan to meet with some of the wide receivers out in Arizona," Volek said. "David Givens and I are talking about it, and Bobby Wade, and if I can drag Drew [Bennett] out there, it will help out too."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Volek and Bennett made an instant connection when Volek filled in for an injured Steve McNair in 2004. Volek is hopeful of restarting that relationship and building a prosperous one with Givens as well. The way Volek sees it, there is no reason the Titans couldn't have two 1,000-yard receivers this coming season, the way Bennett and Derrick Mason did two years ago when they combined for more than 2,400 receiving yards. ... Seems a bit optimistic, but we won't complain about any extra effort made to meet that objective.
