Kranchick appeared in four games with one start for Pittsburgh in 2005. He also played in two games with the Giants. His arrival comes a day after reports indicating that rookie tight end T.J. Williams, a sixth-round pick of the Bucs in April's draft, may be lost for the season as a result of an Achilles' tendon injury he suffered during the final day of the team's three-day mini-camp.
