The Facts:
There's a chance Fiedler won't be ready to participate fully when training camp opens July 28. Though he's about a month into a throwing program, Fiedler said he's still feeling some pain and still isn't ready to throw every day. "I'm not pain-free yet," he said. "I'm not 100 percent right now, but it does get better every time I throw."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Fiedler is rehabbing an injury that he suffered last October. It wasn't until December that the injury was surgically repaired, and that decision has hindered his ability to catch on with another team. The Bucs, though, don't seem overly concerned about Fiedler's health. "We project that he'll be well within a month or so," GM Bruce Allen said. And even if he doesn't open camp as the No. 2 man behind Chris Simms, team officials fully expect him to wind up there before the regular-season opener.
