The wide receiver position remains wide open going into training camp. No one has made a strong pitch to be the starter opposite Donald Driver. The club would really like to see Robert Ferguson or Rod Gardner establish himself as a starter, but that hasn't happened yet. As a result, Jennings has a chance to crack the lineup.

As Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel staffer Tom Silverstein suggests, Jennings has to be more consistent catching the ball and show he can get off the line of scrimmage against top cornerback talent. Still, with recent reports hinting that Ferguson isn't necessarily a lock to make the roster -- and with Gardner and on-and-off participant in off-season workouts, the rookie is a player to watch this summer.
