The Facts:
Club officials don't think they'll have problems signing Leinart. Rod Graves, the VP of football operations, has a good relationship with Leinart's agent, Tom Condon, who has represented a handful of former Cardinals. Condon is smart enough to know his adversary, meaning he realizes owner Bill Bidwill is not going to approve of certain contract terms. He won't try to force those issues, but he will explore other options to get his client a good deal.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As Arizona Republic staffer Kent Somers notes, the Cardinals have a done a better job in recent years of getting draft picks to camp on time and it shouldn't be difficult for the two sides to each an agreement. Leinart, of course, is expected to spend his rookie season as a backup -- assuming Kurt Warner can remain upright all year.
