The Facts:
During initial (June mini-camp) workouts this offseason, Lewis seemed happier as well as heavier. Some estimated his weight at 250 pounds. "I actually leaned up a little bit more, but this isn't the time when I'm trying to come in at 230 or 235 pounds," Lewis said. "That will be July 27 (the day before training camp opens)."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Nearly 15 pounds heavier than his playing weight, Lewis was still lighter for those workouts than he was last year and all involved expect good things now that Lewis has shaken all of the distractions (legal woes, contract issues and injuries) that dogged him them. According to Baltimore Sun staffer Jamison Hensley, former Broncos Mike Anderson's presence should also help -- providing Lewis a sense of urgency. He never feared for his job when he had Chester Taylor backing him up. ... A sense of urgency would be a good thing.
