The Facts:
Ricard, who played 55 regular-season games for the Ravens, starting at fullback for 30 of them, has been officially released by the team. Ricard saw action in two games in 2005, missing four because of calf injuries before being placed on injured reserve in late October.

Ovie Mughelli and Justin Green sit atop the depth chart with Ricard gone. Other options include running back Mike Anderson, a off-season addition with the ability to play fullback, along with greater use of tight end Daniel Wilcox, who saw action in the backfield as an H-back during Baltimore's OTAs.
