But Holmes must prove himself. "He has to realize this is a great opportunity to be a very good player on a very good team, but to do that, he has to make some sacrifices," Rooney said. "He's gotta be on the straight and narrow." Holmes, who has been arrested on misdemeanor chargers twice since being drafted, may be subject to discipline under the league's Personal Conduct Policy, but Rooney doesn't expect that to be an issue.
