The Facts:
The prognosis looks good for running backs Ahman Green, who underwent quadriceps surgery Oct. 25, and Najeh Davenport, who had ankle surgery Oct. 10. "Ahman is doing outstanding and Najeh is doing very well," GM Ted Thompson said. "Ahman is a workaholic. He's feeling really, really good. Sometime during the pre-season, maybe not at the very start, we expect Najeh and Ahman to be back. We're going to try to be very cautious."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As noted in a recent Fantasy Notebook article, Green and Davenport are on track to be back on the field during training camp. When, though, hasn't been determined. Head coach Mike McCarthy would only say "at some point" after the Packers wrapped up three weeks of organized team activities June 21. ... We'll be watching closely. In the meantime, Samkon Gado and Noah Herron will continue to get extra work until Green and Davenport return to full duty.
