Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Buckhalter, successfully returned from a torn ACL in 2002, re-injured the patellar tendon in his right knee during last year's training camp. The injury sidelined him for the entire 2005 campaign. Avant hyperextended his knee during organized team activity and underwent knee surgery to clean out cartilage on June 20. Bloom tweaked his hamstring muscle and underwent an MRI Thursday evening. ... Every other player is scheduled to be on the field when rookies and selected veterans begin the practices Friday morning.
