The Facts:
After conducting the team's first training camp practice on Friday morning, Andy Reid joined trainer Rick Burkholder and GM Tom Heckert in watching Buckhalter go through some running drills. In trying to prove that his knees are physically sound, Buckhalter ran through about 15 minutes of zig-zag drills, and he also ran some dummy pass routes. From general observation, his speed seemed to be good, and he showed no effects from running the drills. "He looked good," Heckert said.

Still, Heckert said he wasn't sure when or if Buckhalter, who has undergone two knee surgeries in the past three years and he's missed three of the past four seasons with knee injuries, would be activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list. The GM added: "I don't think we can count on having him at this point, but if we do have him, he will help us. ..." More as developments warrant.
