The Titans and Vince Young are making progress toward a contract agreement that could get the quarterback into training camp on time. "We're banging away at it," GM Floyd Reese said. Reese also said talks with second-round running back LenDale White are ongoing.

One reason for Reese's optimism in getting a deal done before training camp opens on Friday is that Young's agent, Major Adams, seems committed to staying in Nashville to get a contract finalized. "That's been one of the pleasant surprises in this," Reese said. "Thus far, they appear to be very committed to getting something done."
