The Green Bay Packers signed Rodgers, an All-American kick returner from Texas Christian and their fourth-round pick, on Tuesday.

Rodgers left TCU after his junior season as the school's career leader in kickoff return yards (1,747) and total return yards (2,572). His 4,798 all-purpose yards were second behind LaDainian Tomlinson (5,499). Rodgers tied a TCU record with 17 career touchdown receptions and had 10 TDs rushing. Drafted in the fourth round, he was subsequently was arrested and ultimately pled guilty to weapons charges. Rogers was sentenced to 15 months' probation. If he makes the team, Rogers could face sanctions under the NFL's personal conduct policy.
