The Facts:
Only two Titans will take injury issues to training camp, which begins Friday, Jeff Fisher said Tuesday. Jones had ACL reconstruction surgery last season, and cornerback Michael Waddell suffered a ruptured patella tendon in a non-football accident in the spring. Fisher said Jones and Waddell will be placed on the physically unable to perform-active list.

If they begin the regular season on the PUP list, they have roughly a third of the season to continue rehabilitating, a period during which they don't count against the roster. ... For what it's worth, Jones' original timetable was to be ready for camp.
