The Facts:
Despite the agents for Brown requesting a trade earlier this week, Jeff Fisher said Wednesday that doesn't necessarily mean Brown wants out of Tennessee. "I have not spoken with Chris," said Fisher, who currently has Brown slated at the top of the team's depth chart at running back. "Chris wants to be here. So, him asking for a trade does not imply that he doesn't want to be here."

Brown is entering the final year of his contract and his agents, who were seeking a contract extension, feel he might be a better fit with another team. Fisher isn't so sure. "Chris has had a great offseason," the coach said. "He's in probably the best shape since he's been here. He's our starting running back. ..." All that said, Brown will face stiff competition from rookie LenDale White and Travis Henry this summer.
