The Facts:
With training camp opening Thursday, the Falcons confirmed deals with four of their five 2006 draft picks Wednesday, including Norwood, their third-round pick, wide receiver Adam Jennings (sixth round) and quarterback D.J. Shockley (seventh round).

Terms of Norwood's contract were not available. However, it likely is either a three- or four-year deal. Some observers believe Norwood, the fastest running back in this year's draft (he ran a 4.33 40), is capable of complimenting Warrick Dunn this year. If he proves that theory in camp, T.J. Duckett could become expendable.
