The Facts:
Edwards, the Browns' first-round choice in the 2005 draft who was expected to provide a big-play dimension to the offense, was placed on the NFL's physically unable to perform list (PUP) as the team began training camp on Wednesday.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The move, which means that Edwards cannot practice until he passes a physical examination, comes as no real surprise. Edwards underwent surgery in early January to repair a torn ACL in his right knee. He has made steady progress, but hasn't had nearly enough time to rehabilitate yet. According to local reports, Edwards' return should come following their Week 6 bye -- and Oct. 22 home game against Denver.
