The Minnesota Vikings signed veteran receiver Dez White on Thursday, further adding to an already crowded receiving corps. "I'm all for competition," Brad Childress said. "You can't have too many good players."

White, a six-year veteran, had just two catches for 25 yards and one touchdown for the Atlanta Falcons last year before being placed on injured reserve in December with a sprained knee. Even before that, White had lost his starting position and played sparingly for the Falcons. Koren Robinson, Troy Williamson, Travis Taylor and Marcus Robinson as their current top four.
