The Facts:
The Broncos arrived at team headquarters today in preparation for a 4:30 p.m. mandatory team meeting which kicks off the 2006 training camp. As that time approached two Broncos were in danger of missing the meeting: quarterback Jay Cutler, the team's first-round draft pick, and disgruntled receiver Ashley Lelie.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
It appears Cutler has a much better chance of joining the Broncos soon. The Broncos and Cutler's agent, Bus Cook, continued negotiations Thursday afternoon. Mike Shanahan said he is hopeful Cutler will sign in time to join Denver's first camp practice, tomorrow morning. Lelie is expected to miss the start of training camp as his quest to be traded continues. "I'd be shocked if he came in," said Denver receiver Rod Smith, who recently spoke with Lelie.
