Eagles tight end L.J. Smith has a shoulder sprain. He'll be out for "a couple days," Andy Reid said today. Running back Ryan Moats remains day-to-day with his knee sprain. Receiver Todd Pinkston (Achilles) continues to miss time. ... Receiver Jason Avant, who had off-season knee surgery, is doing better and is day-to-day; receiver Jeremy Bloom is also doing better with his strained hamstring.
