The Facts:
Reggie Brown (hamstring) and Todd Pinkston (Achilles) missed another practice Monday morning while Jabar Gaffney and Greg Lewis ran with the first team. Impressive youngster Hank Baskett worked as the third receiver. Brown should return soon. Pinkston, however, is another story. It remains to be seen if the Eagles' concern about Pinkston will grow to the point that they feel as if they need to make a trade.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
According to Inquirer staffer Bob Brookover, if that happens, they are far more inclined to go after Denver's Ashley Lelie than Oakland's Jerry Porter -- the two most disgruntled and available receivers in the NFL. Brookover went on to suggest there's almost no chance that the Eagles are going to pursue Porter because they consider him a slot receiver and they feel as though they are strong at that position with Gaffney and Lewis as their top candidates. ... Nothing is imminent, but interesting chatter nonetheless.
