The Facts:
The Buccaneers drafted Maurice Stovall in April after he turned in an impressive collegiate career at the wide receiver position with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, but Stovall's future in the NFL might be at another position. PewterReport.com has learned the Bucs are contemplating using the 6-foot-5, 220-pound Stovall as a tight end in head coach Jon Gruden's offense.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
"This is just an off the beaten trail thought that I have," Gruden said when asked about Stovall playing tight end. "This is training camp, so let's find out everything you can do, and let's do it. He maybe could be a tight end in some packages in our offense. ..." Playing tight end might be Stovall's only chance of playing on offense at all during his rookie season. The third-round pick is competing at a crowded wide receiver position that includes Joey Galloway, Michael Clayton, David Boston, Ike Hilliard, Mark Jones and Edell Shepherd, among others.
