Bradford doesn't have the speed of a Charles Rogers or the size of a Mike Williams, but he has something just important which both of those former first-rounders lack: reliability. Receivers coach Kippy Brown lobbied to bring in Bradford as a free agent because he still has the physical skills to get deep and he has the mental toughness and awareness to be a contributor in Mike Martz's offense.

According to Booth Newspapers beat man Tom Kowalski, Bradford doesn't have the smoothness of Martz's past receivers, but he's smart and he'll get open and he's still capable of busting the big plays. He won't see as many balls as fellow starter Roy Williams, but he'll get plenty of chances to produce.
