The Facts:
There are six tight ends camp, but three are getting most of the attention with the first through third units. Veteran Ernie Conwell, who's coming off surgery to repair his right posterior cruciate ligament, seems to be running with the first unit, backed up, in order, by Mark Campbell and Hilton.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The team traded for Tim Euhus in June, acquired Billy Miller as a free agent and took Nate Lawrie off the waiver wire. All six players appear to be capable pass catchers, a big part of the West Coast offense. And tight ends seem to be a favorite target of quarterback Drew Brees. If Conwell's knee holds up through camp, he'd be the likely starter -- much like he was last year. ... Still, we recommend a wait-and-see approach with Hilton, a big target (6-8) who emerged as a legitimate receiving threat last year.
