The Facts:
Watching Davis miss another practice because of a sore knee makes me wonder if he'll ever be even close to 100 percent. I'm wondering if the Texans will ever be able to count on him the way they did before he suffered another knee injury that cost him the last five games of the 2005 season.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Long-time Chronicle beat writer John McClain went on to suggest: "Because of Davis' success when he's healthy, everyone wonders what he could do if he played 16 games, but it's becoming more evident by the day, we might not see him half that much. Healthy for, say, 14 games, I think he could rush for 1,200 to 1,400 yards. ..." Gary Kubiak wants a back to be durable -- capable of 20 to 25 carries a game to build a rhythm -- aggressive and decisive. And as McClain summed up: "When he's got the ball in his hands, Davis is everything but durable."
