The Facts:
On Tuesday, Bush practiced for the first time and addressed the media at the team's training facility. "It was great to get my feet wet," Bush said after practice. "I think we got this [the contract] done sooner than most people thought. Now I just want to get ready for the season."

Bush's training camp work started with a conditioning test earlier in the day. "You can never prepare for three 300-yard shuttle runs," he said. "It went pretty well. You do it and get it out of the way. I think I did a good job with it. ..." According to observers, Bush worked out of the backfield, split out wide and did a bit of return work during his first day as a Saint. Nothing especially eventful on Day 1 -- probably the best possible outcome.
