The Facts:
The Bucs are excited about Smith's versatility. He may not have the downfield burst of San Diego's Antonio Gates, the soft hands of Atlanta's Alge Crumpler or the blocking power of Carolina's Kris Mangum, but they believe Smith does everything well. "Very rarely do you see a kid with this kind of combination," Bucs linebackers coach Joe Barry said. "He's a dangerous man after he catches the ball and as a blocker he is trying to rip your face off."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As a result of that versatility, the Tribune reports that Jon Gruden has crafted some new formations designed to get Smith open in the end zone. In fact, with Gruden planning to continue building his offense around young stars like Cadillac Williams and Smith, the second-year tight end is clearly a player to watch this summer.
