The Facts:
Jones caught 23 passes for 299 yards as a rookie last season before tearing his right anterior cruciate ligament Nov. 27 against the San Francisco 49ers. He had surgery a week later. He's spent the past eight months working his way back, and has been especially busy the past few days at training camp. Jeff Fisher said Jones isn't too far from returning to action. "He's very close. I don't want to say days or weeks, but somewhere in there," Fisher said.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Jones said he doesn't feel any slower after the injury. In fact, he said he feels quicker. But that's probably because he's lost some weight, something Jones said receivers coach Ray Sherman "made" him do. After playing at 215 pounds last year, Jones now weighs about 205. As for where he rates his recovery, Jones put it at "75 to 80 percent" and rising. ... He's unlikely to be draft worthy, but a healthy Jones could emerge as a possible free-agent pickup down the road.
