The Facts:
Jack Del Rio told a team spokesman Sunday that Lewis suffered a high ankle sprain in the second quarter of the Jaguars' 31-26 victory over the Dolphins. Del Rio ruled him out of the Carolina game Saturday night, but wouldn't elaborate further, although a high ankle sprain usually sidelines a player for several weeks.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Lewis was impressive in the first two weeks in camp and appeared to be ticketed to play a big role in the offense. Lewis' injury could mean a bigger role in the passing game for four-year veteran George Wrighster, who caught two passes, including a 51-yard touchdown catch from Quinn Gray in the fourth quarter.
