It appears unlikely that Westbrook will play in another pre-season game. Andy Reid is not in any hurry to put Westbrook, who suffered a sprained foot in the pre-season opener, back in harm's way during the exhibition schedule. "The swelling is out of the foot, but again, it's going to take a little bit of time," the coach said. "He definitely won't be ready this week and it will be a struggle for him to get back next week."

Next week's game is a Friday matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. After that, the Eagles' only remaining pre-season game will be Sept. 1 against the New York Jets. Reid, like most NFL coaches these days, tends to sit most of his starting players in the preseason finale.
