Deuce McAllister Ready For Next Test
(8/16 10:19 PT)

The Facts:
McAllister, who was kept out of action by Sean Payton in Saturday's pre-season opener at Tennessee, said he will play in the upcoming Monday night game against Dallas. "I expect it to hold up," McAllister said of his surgically-repaired knee. "I don't know if it's 100 percent but it's good enough to play." Reported by ESPN.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
McAllister said he was not certain how long he would play but expected it to be around a quarter-and-a-half. ... Although he still fights minor swelling and soreness, McAllister appears to have recovered better than even he thought he would. He has rarely missed a practice, even when the Saints have practiced twice a day. It'll be interesting to see how he reacts to live action.
