No real surprise here, just further confirmation of what we've previously heard. If that's indeed the case, team officials would have a three-week window starting a day after the sixth regular-season game and ending the day after their ninth regular-season game to determine whether to activate Holmes, who suffered a season-ending neck injury last October. Of course, there's still no reason to believe Holmes has (or will) receive medical clearance to return.
