Asked on Monday who the Jaguars' featured running back would be on opening day, Jack Del Rio wondered why the question was even asked. "[Taylor is] our starting running back. I don't know why there's a Fred watch,” the coach said.

Well, the "Fred Watch" may have had something to do with the fact that as recently as last week, Del Rio wouldn't rule out the possibility that Greg Jones could challenge Taylor for the starting job, even though he expects the latter to start. ... Still, it's good to get some confirmation that Taylor is indeed the man.
