The Falcons sent Duckett to the Redskins in a three-way deal that sent Ashley Lelie to Atlanta; the Broncos receive an undisclosed draft choice in the deal. The Falcons have been shopping Duckett in trade talks much of the offseason.  Reported by ESPN.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The Redskins head into the final two weeks of pre-season play hopeful that Clinton Portis will be sufficiently recovered from his injured shoulder to play in the regular-season opener. But nothing is guaranteed. At the very least, Duckett provides fantastic depth and a strong goal-line and short-yardage presence; in a worst-case scenario, the former first-round pick could certainly help fill the featured role if Portis doesn't make it back in a timely manner.
