The Facts:
Palmer says all systems are go for the re-launch of his career in his 2006 debut Monday night against Green Bay. "People act like I haven't played in years, but it's only been five, six, seven months," said Palmer at a Thursday news conference. "I'm ready to go and I'm excited to get back on the field."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Palmer has yet to sit down with Marvin Lewis to map out how long he'll play, although the third preseason game is usually viewed as a dress rehearsal for the regular-season opener. That would mean Palmer and the first offense play at least the entire first half. Palmer and Lewis haven't said much of anything about his role for the Sept. 1 preseason finale in Indianapolis and how it affects his status for Sept. 10 opener against the Chiefs. Since there is only four days between games, Palmer said a call would be made after evaluating swelling and tenderness after the Packers game.
