The Facts:
Brian Griese has produced four touchdown passes and one field goal in five preseason possessions, but Grossman remains the man despite the fact the first-team offense has yet to crack the end zone. "Yes, he is," Lovie Smith said emphatically when asked if Grossman remained his man. "He's our No. 1 quarterback."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Griese's preseason stats are nearly flawless -- 18-for-25 for 281 yards and four touchdowns. His passer rating is 148.5. But numbers alone aren't going to force the Bears into a change. Grossman starts at Green Bay on Sept. 10 barring injury, that's the message being sent -- no matter how hard the home fans boo Grossman or how loudly they cheer Griese. All bets would be off, however, should Grossman's struggles continue into the regular season and the games start to count.
