The Facts:
Apparently determined to create what he has called a "culture of accountability," Brad Childress released Robinson, who in March signed a three-year, $12.7 million contract, along with seven other players Saturday, with a mandatory cut to 75 looming Tuesday.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The Vikings are apparently willing to deal with some headaches for releasing Robinson before he has been convicted of any of the six charges against him after his high-speed chase on Aug. 15. According to Pioneer Press staffer Sean Jensen, the team will likely face a grievance from Robinson, especially if he somehow is found not guilty of driving while intoxicated.
