The Facts:
The Saints released five players Sunday, including backup quarterback Todd Bouman and receiver Bethel Johnson, to make room for players claimed off waivers. The new players include former Cowboys receiver Terrance Copper.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Bouman had been in the league for nine years, the last three with the Saints and the other six with Minnesota. He would have been the Saints' third quarterback, but a relatively expensive one. Johnson sprained his knee on a kick return during a preseason game against Minnesota. Copper is familiar to Saints coach Sean Payton from their time together in Dallas.
